As we close out this challenging calendar year, let's take a moment to breathe and get some coaching and exhortation going into this final stretch and new year. We need refreshing!
Join us for a FREE hour each night to talk practically about spiritual disciplines that can lead us to success in whatever comes our way.
The Survive & Thrive Women's Collaborative is a FREE online fellowship and learning experience for women focusing in on equipping us all with practical tools and not just preaching "at" folks.
Each evening will focus in on a spiritual discipline that will help participants THRIVE in this season and beyond!
Survive & Thrive will be held online using the Zoom platform (link to be provided). Presenters from various parts of the country will be assembling for an hour of equipping and encouragement.
Survive & Thrive is listed as a "collaborative event" on purpose. This event is not about titles and degrees (although these ladies have them in spades). The aim has been to assemble a team of gifted, educated, wise women of God to share what God is saying in practical ways. A brief biography of each presenter is listed below.

Spurred by her faith, Mary Gates has been an advocate for justice for 20+ years, having worked with vulnerable populations in broad socio-economic environments. Through her work with anti-trafficking nonprofits, Mary has directly cared for hundreds of girls and women with backgrounds of sexual abuse, trauma, and incarceration. There are many things that could be said about Pastor Andrea D. Omojola, MPH, MDiv. She was born in Nigeria to an American mother and Guinean father. There are many things that could be said about Pastor Andrea D. Omojola, MPH, MDiv. She was born in Nigeria to an American mother and Guinean father. She gets her love for cross cultural ministry and missions honest through her experiences growing up in cross cultural settings. Andrea has a B.A. in Communications from The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI), a Masters in Public Health from Emory University (Atlanta, GA) and a Masters in Divinity from Luther Rice University (Atlanta, GA). Andrea was licensed as a minister in 2006 and ordained as a pastor in 2012. She is the author of In The Process of Time: Victory Through Your Waiting Season and is a speaker, lay/ministerial counselor, administrator, photographer and so much more. She met and married her husband Johnson while serving as a missionary with Mercy Ships and they currently reside in Lubbock, TX where she is the Chief Operating Officer of Open Door--a faith-based organization that ministers to those experiencing homelessness/poverty and survivors of sex trafficking. However, those are merely the facts you can read on her resume. What's most important to Andrea is her relationship with God. She has a heart to serve Him and others to His glory. She didn't grow up in the church, but came to know him as her savior in her mid 20's and has been on fire for the Lord ever since. She is a woman who strives to be an ambassador for Christ no matter what she is doing or where she goes. Her motto is: Follow FAITH towards DESTINY and cherish every moment along the way.
We hope you can spare an hour for one or more of this year's Survive & Thrive sessions. All sessions will begin at 6p CST/7p EST. You won't want to miss a night!
